Good Morning Poirot
I see Captain Ceasaur has been by with a Welcome Aboard note which means you've signed on and will be sailing away on the Pearl with me. WoooWhooo! We'll be making this adventure together!
If I were with the parronts right, I'd be half a nation closer to you, but alas, I'm still in IL while they're now enjoying the sights and sounds of Woodland Park, CO. I guess mom's already been out nose to nose with a deer and practically got run over by a busy little squirrel. Sure wish I could be seeing it all too. Instead I'm stuck here in the corner of my room, doomed to the longest boring weekend of the year so far. I was found perched on the narrow ledge of a window in the bay window area after mom had been away for just a couple of hours on an errand. She asked me if I was watching for her return and suggested I not do that while she was out west because it would be a much longer wait. All the succulents were carried out of the room for safety's sake, just in case my green toe gets a hankerin' to do a little pruning. The Christmas cactus is about to bloom again (silly thing) and I guess it'd be nice if I didn't pick all those buds before they open.
I'm hoping yesterday was another good day for you and that today will be as well. Can't wait to hear about some flying, tossing, laughing, whistling, back-rolling, toy-flipping activities. Those are some of my favorite stories!
