Hi Popeye
was reading a blog on Dixies page from you about your moms brother and the CAG. mom had a similiar experience here. neighbors around our house are not very friendly with each other. one neighbor had a kid that used to help around our house with yard work and then he grew up and moved away. everynight cori would start screaming around 8:pm and mom couldnt figure out why. as the days got warmer she opened the windows and could hear this parrot screaming outside and then cori would answer it. mom sarched and searched to find out where this parrot was and found that the kid that had done yard work had bought this moulocaan cockatoo and was keeping it at his parrents (our neighbors) because they compalined about the noise where he lived. he hated the parrot and his parents did also. they kept it out on their deck all summer regardless of the weather and all it did was scream. mom said she would like the parrot because she loves cockatoos and she felt bad for it all by itself. they said that raccoons had broken into its cage and stolen its food and they would talk to their son since mom wanted it. the son called mom and said mom could have the cockatoo for $2,000. mom said she didnt have the money and he said that he wouldnt take anything less. this from a family that hated the bird and wanted to unload it. soon after the bird disappeared and they moved. mom says people are so greedy. thats all they care about. the bird would have been very happy here and had a good life. love cori
