Hi, Peepers,
Yeah, our mom comes quickly if she hears us falling, also with a lil flashlight. She's just glad we've never really hurt ourselves, but knows that some 'tiels get more scared than others and thrash a lot. We fall, then climb back up and go back to sleep. Mom just likes to make sure we're okay.
Probably not good to have a perch that's not stable. Don't really like that feeling, though guess it's okay on a swing or a boing. We don't have either of those in our birdhouse though.
Too bad the breeder's store isn't in a location that would be easy for your mom to get to to help with the wing and nail trims. Our mom also dislikes going over any bridges.
We like broccoli, but good that your mom put something Dixie likes on it to get him to eat it. We love green beans! Not convinced on carrots, but furball gets the lil ones as a treat.
