Hi Sweetpepper
Lots of people either don't like or are afraid of bats. Bats are amazing creatures, and they are about 1/4 of the mammal population worldwide. There are about 4000 species of mammals in the world, and about 1000 of them are bats! Here in the US, they eat mostly insects, and can put away about 500 mosquitoes in an hour!
The furballs have a vet appointment today, and mom is hoping to get to the pool as well. After shoveling the driveway this morning, though, it's anyone's guess if she will make it to swim. Tonight, she is going with her Vietnamese friend to shop for goodies to take with her for the family. Mom wants to get them something they will like, and Nghi wants to take candy.
