Hi Athena
That's very important to get someone you know will care for the fids after the parronts are gone. Real tough. Mom and dad are doing a rework of their will specifics, looks like us guys will be the last birds standing! We are putting this NO PREENING back out there. Mom has never encountered this and would appreciate any input from anybirdy our there who knows/experienced this with their parrot. Right now nutrition is a priority with the light issue along with emotionally settling in. Last night that big galoot blushed at mom--pink in the face and down to his toes when she told him that she loved him. aaaaahhhhhhh. I may have to go over there and start preening him. We will see. Love and winghugs, Josh
