Hi Falco--
Ooooh...a belated happy hatchday to Willie. Mom remembered about guys night out finally, but by the time she got me there everyone was leaving. Phooey. Well, I guess I had guys weekend out with Copernicus and Einstein, so I shouldn't complain too much.
It takes about 5 hours to get to Williamsburg from here. Of course if Mom D had her way, it'd take longer, and they'd stop and see more stuff, but since it's always a visit to see Mom T's sister and her kids, she never gets her way on that one! Anyhow they're back now, and things are getting back to normal. Mom had a long day at work yesterday...a meeting (2hours) and catching up with the kids she missed on Monday. Days like that make her know she did the right thing by retiring, if only they'd let her do it! Seems like all the counselors are leaving or planning to leave...they just keep getting dumped on with more work that isn't really their job. The supt doesn't realize he's causing a mutiny!
Hope things are good at your house....we may get a little snow tonight and tomorrow...so much for Mr Phil the Groundhog, eh? |
