Taxes are a real pain, aren't they? Mom has nothing to speak of since she is in SS, but Dad's definitely going to have to go long form between the medical bills and his interest on savings. Actually Mom had a small short term loss on her investments last year, so maybe she will have to go long form too. Good thing she has a trustworthy tax consultant she has been using for years.
Speaking of which sounds like your mom has that kind of mechanic. Very cool that he does body work too. Bet he will save her some money. My mom has a good mechanic, but they don't do any body work. If they did, she would have them paint poor Gloria (mom named her car; silly mom).
Well, I hear those squawk-a-tiels are all over BC today, but so far so good. Hopefully they have all been put to bed and covered up.
No sunbath for me today, but no surprise since it is all cloudy. Rain projected for tomorrow, and not a 70 degree day in sight. At least we don't have the storm the Northeast is expecting.
Had a tough morning. Since I am still feeling pretty hormonal I tried to sneak in a feeding to Mom's mouth, but she moved at the last second and I fed her nose! How embarrassing!! And let's just say Mom was less than thrilled. Not a good way to start housecleaning day. Her first cleaning job was her face!
