Aww, Josh,
How sweet your new frother, Blue, blushed when your mom said she loved him, so great! Isn't that what it's all about? Mom said she did a quick Google search about the preening issue but never got any clear answers. Said she ended up in a parrot forum and saw lots of posts about a broad sprectrum UV light or fluorescent light and doesn't know if that would help or not. She's thinking of trying that for Mac because she over preens and for me because I don't preen enough, especially my tail. Mom and dad have to distract me while one of them breaks the casings on my tail and they have to be quick! They think I don't know what they're doing, but I'm on to them. Did they ever stop to consider that I like those casings? Anyway, we have an awesome bird vet office here owned by a vet who is internationally known and recognized in his field.
