Hi SC!
I didn't know you had a rooster. Do you have chickens too? When we lived in Virginia, we had chickens and roosters. They all lived in different parts of the farm and the roosters tried to steal each other's hens. One group lived by our front porch and they'd sit on the back of the porch swing and look in at my cage at me! hehehe! At night they all flew up in the tree next to the house to sleep. Nothing funnier than a bunch of chickens sleeping in a tree! And some of the roosters were mean. One chased mom all across the yard from the barns and she has the scars on her legs to prove it! He also trapped her in the dove aviary for several hours once. She was glad when a younger, nicer rooster stomped him.
Keep warm up there!
Big hugs, Picabo
