Wow, what a story about that owl, we hadn't heard it before! We are praying for GPa, we know tomorrow is the big day. Hope you aren't too upset and nervous about it. You can cast a shell, like a broken bone, and it should heal like bones do, but if we get it too late, the edges are already necrotic, so we just have to wait and see. If it doesn't heal properly, the turtle may go to a sanctuary or stay at the center where it's safe from predation. Well, yesterday it was 60 degrees when mom left the center, then the wind started. By last night it was in the low 30s, and that seems to be where it is today. I think today is going to be rather low keyed, once mom gets back from the pool. She's going to put away the water colors, clean the basement a little, maybe wash the dog blankets down there, then spend the day with us. It sounds like a great day to me! Hope you are having a good day weatherwise, and get lots of attention today, too. Let's get to the spa, I can't wait for the whirlpool. Hugs, Falco |
