Dear Puffin
Chirps here! Tomorrow, Spot is leaving home for parts unknown. He calls it an Australian 'Walkabout'! He's leaving primarily because of you. he doesn't want to cause a problem with your flockily! Spot is a very brave a gallant tiel, but his heart is broken. He doesn't think he can stand to see you at every function, or possibly with another boy-bird! His love is so deep that both mom and I agree that leaving here for a time is the best solution!
He looked every 15 minutes all day yesterday and today for an answer from you. Then he cried all night for two whole nights.
One thing I know, neither of you will ever have that deep a love in this life. Spot's sense of loss will fade, but he will never give his heart again.
He's going to be flying by plane to Alabama and my mom's friends house. From there, he will walk all over America. He has promised to contact mom and me, and Poppa Sky by phone once a week. Other than that we will not know where he is or what he's doing!
I'm telling you this to give you one chance to say goodbye to him before he leaves. His plane leaves at 1:00PM EST.
I hope you and I can still be friends. I'm not so sure of Captain Ceasaur or Sam I Am. Besides neither one has asked for forgiveness. Still, I forgive them, but will never forget the things they said about Spot. They were and are wrong about him. Spot has the deepest respect for your frother, Ceasaur, and Sam I Am was his hero.
Anyway, that's the 'lay of the land' so to speak. Have a nice voyage.
Luv, Ms. Chirps♥
