I'm even sorrier that I had to do it....
...I wish I was stronger but I've never had anybirdy do that to me before....ever. I've taken ribbing, waterballoons, food fights. But NOT that! Yes, ravens have. Yes, other pirates have. But not from my own crew. I am the First Mate. If I were to 'take' that, I could be dismissed for not being what the Captain needs. Everyone has to go through me to get to him & the QuarterMaster. That doesn't mean just askin' questions or permission but protecting them and all of the crew, too. If he did that to me for such a silly thing, what might he do to YOU if ye wrote something he didn't like. No, I wish it could have worked some other way. But I read it over & over.....I had to....
And parronts & birds must know, this is a pirate ship. Pirates fight sometimes. When I step off this ship, I don't do this kind of thing. Have NEVER done this kind of thing. This t'ain't the Kissin' Booth and them shenanigans need to be left back home. That's it and I'm sorry ye had to write it. I truly am.....I'm sorry Miss Sophie. |
