First Mate SamIIAm Knocks On LaLo's Door......
.....She opens it asking, "What's up?" allowing the First Mate to enter. Sam answers her, "Well, we're getting ready to drop anchor just off the shores of St. Lucia. We've been sailing all night & we're getting very close now. During that time, the captain & quartermaster have been getting all their parrots in a row for the landing parties, etc. I just wanted you to know that I've put a good word in for ye as you were an asset in the last mission. You were just the best, Miss LaLo! You and Rusty, both, deserve to have a toe in the next one." First Mate stands at the porthole looking out, "We're going to send some recon up first, letting our spies earn their money, so to say." But after that, Sam trails off, finding the next thing he must tell her, "Miss LaLo, ye needs to make sure yer affairs are in order. These next missions are going to be VERY dangerous. I just wanted you to know & be thinking about it. Have a letter or email readied should the worse should happen." Sam gulps, "If ever those little angel guides were out & about, we sure need them NOW." Miss LaLo closes her cabin door & starts to write a letter to her daddy. |
