Hi, Chi Chi,
After our mom made socks she had some yarn left over but not enough for another pair of socks, but enough for a pair of simple wristwarmers that were not much longer than the wrist. Mom always tries to buy her yarn when it's on sale. Still, it's understandable how some of the imported fancier yarns from the specialty stores would cost more.

The other night mom forgot to cover us. Skinsis called about the time we get covered and asked mom to make her something while she was walking home. So mom did and then sometime after 7 saw our white birdhouse in the dark and realized we were not covered. Harrruummph! We were sitting by the food dishes and not in our birdie bedtime spots. She had to turn the light on, cover us and then leave the lights on a lil while so we could see enough to move to our bedtime perches. If we squawked at the appropriate time she didn't hear us.

Have a great day, wing hugs, beak kisses and a vote, Pearl and Silver.
