Hey, what great news from P's mom today, huh? I sure am glad it sounds like G-Pa has turned the corner in his recovery. Now if he can just keep improving. I remember how Mom thought Dad had passed the bad part, and then he slid back. I did not mention that to Teri when I had Mom email her back. She doesn't need to hear that right now. We will keep our toesies crossed and our prayers winging her way, won't we?
I did not get a sunbath today, although I am sure you and your mom would have thought it was a heat wave. It was almost warm enough, and sure was sunny. However there was chilly breeze every few minutes and mom didn't want me to get cold. And now it looks like nothing is coming for in the way of sunbaths for at least 10 days. Maybe even some rain (which we nees, so OK.)
Actually if Mom is not home, I will tolerate Dad sticking his head in to talk to me. However that little trick he pulled yesterday was just wrong! I am one brave and tough hombre, so to sneak up on me like that? Well, phooey. Today I was getting ready to take a nap on my mom's knee, and he stuck his head in. I didn't even bother to puff up my feathers or hop behind Mom's legs. I was just too tired. He was really surprised.
Well, Dad and your Mom have to go back to work tomorrow. No more holiday. I love it, and I bet you hate it. Just a different attitude, all around.
