Hi Cydney It's Emmie. Ok, here's what you tell your parronts. Picking a budgie is not as easy as it sounds. Because there are so many colors and sizes, your parronts need to pay close attention to the actions of the budgie. First, don't go for one that just sits. We are active, busy birds and if we just sit, there's something wrong with us. Secondly, unless you want a bossy bird, stay away from the aggressive ones. They're the ons who bully the other birds. They'll be mean to you as well. Third, heve your mom or dad put their faces close to the cage bars or the glass and watch what they do. If one comes up to you and tries to nibble on your nose, he's a frendly, curious one and will make a great friend. That's what I did. When dad poked his nose up to the glass I jumped over and tried to nibble on his nose. Another budgie tried to do the same thing but I pushed him off the perch and keept nibbling. That's all it took. I went home with dad. Hope your day was fun. Hugs, Emmie. |
