Good evening Popeye
You know, that power outage I was telling you about yesterday, it could well have been that someone tripped over the cord; a line was down a mile or so up the road. An alien or some other extremely tall creature could've easily tripped over that highline and left me in the dark. Nevermind that it was dark still when the lights went out which in some cases would make it hard to tell when the power quit but I knew because the fan that runs in the closet in my room to drown out night owl noises (humans up past their bedtime) went silent. There's nothing so loud as silence sometimes.

*Kelly fiddles with a paperweight that's on Popeye's desk and wonders about the small bird footprint on it.*

I'd best let you get back to work. Chat later.
