VOTE SNOWBALL FOR BOTM PG 150496
HI KAJI AND LIZZIE. WELL MOM TALKED TO THE NURSE AND SHE SAID THAT G-PA PROBABLY WILL NOT BE GOING HOME TOMORROW. HE WAS TO START EATING SOFT FOODS TODAY BUT HE IS STILL HAVING DIFFICULTY IN SWALLOWING WATER. THE DR WAS UP VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING AND TOLD HIM JUST WHAT HE HAD TO DO AND WHY HIS THROAT IS SO VERY RAW. THEY WILL KEEP HIM TILL HE IS ABLE TO SWALLOW SOFT FOODS AND BE ABLE TO SWALLOW HIS PILLS.

MOM REMEMBERS JUST HOW BAD AND PAINFUL IT WAS FOR HER TO SWALLOW WATER, FOOD AND PILLS WITH WHAT THEY DID DURING HER SURGERY. MOM STILL HAS SOME SWELLING IN HER NECK ON THE LEFT SIDE. SOME BIG PILLS OR CERTAIN FOODS MOM HAS TROUBLE STILL SWALLOWING IT. SO ITS GOING TO TAKE TIME FOR G-PA TO BE ABLE TO REALLY GET WATER AND FOOD DOWN.

WE ARE GETTING SNOW HERE RIGHT NOW. THEY SAY FOR OUR AREA IT WILL BE 2-4 INCHES. IF THE ROADS ARE REALLY BAD TOMORROW THEN MOM AND G-MA WILL STAY HOME. IF IT ISN'T TOO BAD, THEY WILL WAIT TILL LATERIN AFTERNOON WHEN THE ROADS ARE CLEAR. MOM TOLD G-PA THAT SHE WILL CALL HIM IN MORNING TO LET HIM KNOW WHAT IS UP.

ITS BETTER THAT G-PA NOT BE SENT HOME IN A SNOWSTORM EVEN IF HE WAS ABLE TO EAT. WITHOUT FOOD G-PA IS KINDA WEAK. HE WAS IN BETTER SPIRITS TODAY AND HE HAS BEEN GETTING UP TO WALK THE HALLS AND DO SOME EXERCISES IN BED TO TRY TO GET STRONGER BUT WITHOUT FOOD, ITS HARD. EVEN IF HE IS GETTING THOSE LIQUID FEEDINGS THRU THE FEEDING TUBE IN HIS ABDOMEN.
