Hi Angel
Hi i am glad your birds are doing good. I will keep in contact with you more cause our birds are so close in age. Actually i recently looked at my page and saw that Feathers age was off a few years and i thought they automatically change the age each year so i had to stick her new age in there. I am making a guess that she is a January birthday because i bought her around March of 2006 and she would of been a few months old. Shortly after i bought her i got her a physical at the vets and a test to determine if she was a girl and the paper is dated April 2006 and those test would of came back a few weeks later by the time i got the little sheet and so that made me know it had to have been the month of March that i bought her. So she has now turned 17 years old. I now worry a little bit feeling like she is on borrowed time. She is so active and happy the same as all the old videos which i was watching recently and yet with her age you just never know if she would suddenly decline like something failing. It will be so sad like a human dieing because i had her so long. Gosh i cant imagine it but it will be hard. But i am the type of person to not let myself be super depressed about it or let if affect the rest of my life otherwise i would feel worse. I always feel like when a person goes through something they must stay strong and allow time to heal them. Feather is all over utube so that will be hard too. But than i will buy another cockatiel or two and put them on utube. And when Feather goes i will leave some of her utube videos up in rememberance. I wont make a rememberance video because that would be way too painful. haha Look at me i cant shouldnt talk about those things. Maybe Feather will live 3 more years. Actually they can live up to 30 years.
