Aw Rainbeau..
That's so sweet of you, the comment about looking in Christy's mirror and seeing my Angel's reflection, you got it, most wouldn't! That precious mirror is hanging from my cargo net, I occasionally pick it up and look at it very lovingly, knowing it was something that was very sacred to Christine. My house is filled with little rememberances of her, that mirror & bell is my most treasured. You've been where I am now, losing your beloved Rosalie so suddenly, it takes a very long time to get to a point where you can look at their picture or a special memento they've given you without getting an ache in your heart that brings you to tears..My gal was really something, I thank Mom every day that she allowed me to go visit her, little did I know it would be my one and only time to spend a few days with her. The thing I miss the most is hearing her on the phone when Mom to talking to uncle Chuck, I listened very intently to her little whimpers and subtle squawks when Mom put the phone on speaker. Now anytime Mom gets on the phone, I run over and sit very close to see if I can hear those sweet sounds again. No one else other than maybe you would believe it unless they were here to see for themselves..
Enough reminiscing for now, seems as though I do a lot of that lately, I can't decide if it helps or makes things more painful. I'm getting Mom all weepy so I better cut this off before there's a full fledged bawling sessions going on..Kleenex sure doesn't last very long around here these days..
I know you guys got some snow, that's probably not going to happen here at all this year, it's been to warm, just not warm enough to allow more outside time. That's something I've got to look forward to. Have a good Sunday chewing on those door frames buddy..Check ya later, Romeo |
