Hello! Hello!!
How's my vacationing Grey doing tonight? Have you gotten to enjoy a view of the ocean, perhaps felt some sea breezes through your feathers, enjoyed an extra large portion of time with your Mama? I hope she's put her feet up and done some serious lounging, really made your time at the beach a real vacation. Too bad Pringle and Pepper aren't there as well so she wouldn't have to be missing them. Sounds like you're enjoying the 'vacation' from having to share with them.

Speaking of teasing flockmates, today I dared to duck inside the box Alfie has on top of his cage. He's been in there for weeks working on redoing the interior so today I couldn't resist seeing what's he's accomplished. I was so impressed by the soft pile of paper pieces I commenced to chicken-scratching and turning circles. Mom said she wouldn't have been at all surprised if I'd next laid an egg! To make sure I remained safe, Alfie was tucked inside his cage and the door shut. Once I was back out of the box, he was set free again. Of course he made a bee-line for his box, I suppose, to see what damage I'd done while in there. When he went to exit his box, I leaned out and yanked on a back feather. Mom was so shocked at my behavior, she yelled at me! (something that surprised the both of us). I promptly got set in my cage and the door shut, something that's not happened mid-day very many times in my life. And I must say, I didn't care for it all that much. Sadly, I didn't learn anything from my time out. I went right back over to Alfie's box and made like I was going to tell him to get away from it. I now have my own box although I must say it's much smaller than A's. Mmmmm...

I do hope you're still feeling much improved so you can truly enjoy your time away. It would be sad to have you feeling miserable and unable to take advantage to all the new sights and sounds of your home away from home.

Sending you snow-covered kisses ~
