Hiya Pico
First I gotta say OH MY GOODNESS, LOOK HOW BIG CADE IS!!!! Boy, no more baby boy there. He's this miniature young man of all a sudden! And what a handsome lad he is. That's awesome he's gonna be spendin' a whole entire weekend with you pretty soon. You guys are gonna have the bestest time. Next I gotta ask, how do you resist chewing up that toy basket? Oh baby, that thing would be a straw pile if it were left in my care. You must be one well-behaved Caique. Way t'go. You've got more willpower than I'll ever have.

Sounds like Bindi's doin' okay, all things considered. Has she made any sort of noise yet? Even a peep? That's the oddest thing in a parakeet; silence. They're always so chatty! Mom always misses them and their constant conversation once they're back out in the bird barn for the summer. The house is strangely quiet without them. You probably miss Bindi's talking to you during the day, don't ya.

Me and the McFlock, we had us a pretty good day. Nothing exciting really although I tried t'liven things up for mom by chasing after her feet. She had on shoes she normally only shows up in when she's about t'leave the house. I get ornery when I know that's about t'happen and I assumed that's what was going on when she walked in. Lucky for her she's a good jumper and managed to get away from me. I think got a stern scolding, one that ended with me holding my beak up high so mom would forget about the speech and just kiss me. Works every time!

Happy Almost Friday!
