Hi, Mackenzie
Perhaps that power outage wasn't a big deal where your parronts were living at the time. Think our parronts only remember it 'cause they were out and about when it happened.

How funny that some furballs are more cowardly than others. Good thing Harley has furball companions to help alleviate his fears. He's undoubtedly seen that the clock doesn't phase the other two and we assume in time he'll get used to the noise and just tune it out.

One year the parronts (and gma) went to beach where the Monarchs winter. They had no idea there was a big activity for kids and adults to participate in to learn about the butterflies so it was quite fun for skinsis (can't recall her age, but probably single digit) to join other kids in the arts and crafts portion. There was a slide show and an informative lecture too, not to mention all the monarchs to see flying around or hanging out in clusters on the trees. Since gpa had passed prior to skinsis birth the parronts often asked if gma wanted to accompany them on their day trips.

Tahoe is very beautiful. The parronts only went there a couple of times. Some of dad's friends used to live/work there a long time ago. Mom isn't fond of roller coasters. Dad always had to ride it by himself, but he didn't mind. It was a long time before skinsis was barely tall enough to even ride the thing. .

Have a great day, wing hugs, beak kisses and a vote, Pearl and Silver.
