Mornin' Romeo
Oh wait, it's afternoon at your place already. Well, good afternoon then. Yeah, those snow pictures are from what fell from the last system that went through here. While friends in MO got over a foot, it was only a 4" accumulation here. The neat thing was that over the rest of the week it snowed lightly almost every day, off and on which added a nice powdery coating to everything. There was a little wind one day which is why the snow's sort of piled up around the ornamental grass that's outside of the aviary. Mom leaves that grass uncut for the winter so the sparrows have a place to snuggle. I've seen dozens of sparrows burst out of those clumps of grass when a dog ran by or mom got too close. It's a sunny day today so lots of the snow may melt. Hope it's warmed up a little at your place. Cold rain is miserable.

All's well with me and the McFlock. Saber and Kelly had themselves a rip-roarin' time in their pans of water awhile ago so the tile floor's soaked on their side of the room. The squirt bottle'll probably show up here in awhile and give me a shower. I'm sure I'll get held over the plants that are wintering in here so they too can bet a bit of a shower. Poor things are pretty dusty having t'live with a bunch of parrots right now. Bet they're as anxious about spring's arrival as us birds are! A downpour would clean them up nicely.

Hope your weekend's a happy one.
