Hi Cu Bird
Have a good weekend? Get in some quality cuddling and loving? Saturday mornings around here are unique in that room service attending is done in a laid back and easy going manner which means mom hangs out with us for hours! While she was tediously wiping the spaces between each of the bars on my cage I march around on her back, fluttering my wings and whining like a puppy. The fun part comes when it's time for me to be extricated. I'm sure you know where that spot is in the middle of a human's back where if you hang right there, you can't be reached at all! Even though I know I won't get a piece of pecan or flake of wheat cereal for not stepping up on first request, it's worth it!
How did Blue and Josh do this weekend? Poor Blue, being all stirred up over seeing his first mom again. That would be hard. I have no idea how I would've reacted if my Faye or Dale had come to see me in my new home. I talked in their voices for years after being away but now it's rare to hear me carrying on conversations I used to hear them have. Time will hopefully make a difference for Blue. And for Josh too. It does for all of us, one way or another. I really liked hearing all about the character features of your flock and the attributes that free or confine each of you. Until the smaller birds here were given their own space I had to spend much of my time confined behind bars as I have a penchant for small parrot. One can only be expected to tolerate the manic taunting of a conure for just so long, in my opinion. Now that they reside on the other side of a heavy door I'm free to roam about the cabin more often, so to speak. We, Cu Bird, are blessed to have moms who are looking out for our health and well being. In this month of lucky clovers and pots of gold I'd say we've hit the jackpot when it comes to love and care, wouldn't you? Definitely!
