Hi Saber
It's me Angel Lee-Roial. It's funny but I still remember you as Sheba and I laugh because here everybirdy thought of me as Leroy at first. You were one of my closest friends around here and I miss you. I have lots of Angel friends, but I much prefer hanging out back at home, annoying the birds in the flock, especially when they do not expect me to be there. It is the mischief in me that I could not let loose because I always had those infections that made me feel so miserable. Mom was so good with me, but no matter what she could have done, there was nothing that would have cured me completely. My past was there, and my respiratory problems started from when I was very young. I had a short time but a wonderful time with mom. I learned what love is really all about. It's not that my old owner did not love me, but he did not let the rest of the family get close to me, and when he died, they had no idea of what to do with me, so I was useless to them. I am so glad they picked Mom as my new Mom. I was so scared when I first saw her, but that first night, when she came and sat with me and just talked to me, I realized right then that there was nothing to be afraid of. She even gave me a peanut the next day, and I took it from her hand. Well... I am going to let MOm get some sleep. I don't have to, but she does. Drop by and visit me any time. Mom will help me and type for me like she always has. |
