Welcome Back Home Poirot!
Glad to know your journey back was a safe and successful one, that you were one very happy bird to be back and that all is well with Pringle and Pepper now they're back too. Adventures are greyt fun but there's truly no place like home.

I do indeed have snow here and after today, even more! It's snowed quite heavily most of the morning and then tapered off mid afternoon but by then the wind had picked up and while snow wasn't falling, it was blowing everywhere so it's been a very wintery day all day. With temperatures to be in the 50s over the weekend, the snow's not bound to be around long. Ooops, I just checked the forecast and those expected temps have been dropped back to the mid 40s. But you! - you have some 50s in your forecast. Perhaps I shall wing my way to your place for the week and enjoy an early taste of spring. And yes, I still have my flight privileges though not many hours in a day go by before threats to remove them are heard. I was left sitting on the cage that's been placed at the end of the computer with the suggestion that I stay put but mom hadn't anymore than walked into the kitchen when I landed on the dog gate behind her. I can play follow the leader quite well, thank you. The biggest challenge remains the kitchen counters; I just won't stay off of them. And today I discovered the convenience of perching on the iMac but you can imagine the reaction THAT got. Oh my, I've never been rushed by so many humans! The cage I use in the birdroom has been moved out beside the computer so I can be confined in the moments mom needs to step away for a minute. That works if she actually remembers to put me in there. Sometimes I have to fly after her to remind her I need to be tucked inside to make this work. *smile* I'm disappointed that only two other feathers have come in at this point. I was so hoping for a full set of flights before springtime... They're going to have to hurry.

Thank you for the comment on my avatar. I was aiming for something a little Irish and at the time the avatar was being pieced together, a Celtic number that featured a flute was playing which is why I ended up with a wooden instrument. Like that will last long in my possession.

So good to know you're back home.
xoxo
