I was suppose to be here yesterday. Mom had promised that I could come perch on her shoulder and write you a note but just as it was my turn, something happened and that was the end of BC time for the day. Why does it feel like it's always me that happens to?
I'm not buried in snow, not in the least. Tuesday's snow was so pretty, coming down in great big flakes and nice and soft and first, without any wind. RaneBeau, he got to go out for a couple of pictures in the yard while the snow was decorating the trees. Once the wind picked up, that was the end of the pretty trees. In some places now the grass is showing but in others the snow's about four feet deep. It'll take a while for that to melt.
Me, I'm doing just fine. I've whittled away about three dozen large popsicle sticks since the weekend, I've shredded a seed bag every day and I've figured out how to unclip the metal clasp that holds up one end of my sleep hut. And speaking of tents, that's funny that you've been eating in yours. I'd probably do the same if mine were left hanging here all day but it's taken down each morning so the tiels won't chew holes in it or sever the rope that runs through the middle. They're busy little birds like that. These new holiday huts, are they St. Patricks, Easter and ??? I'm still stuck with my yellow one. Maybe I should try and talk a 'Tiel into chewing it up a little so I can have a new one. he hee
Glad to know that everything's a-okay with you. Sometimes it's a good thing if things are just as they usually are. I like the 'same ol' same ol'. Anything else likely means Mom's gone. :(
I love you back, Martini, lots and lots.
I like us in the field of green in your avatar.
