Hi Kirby!
I'm glad you like my St. Pat's Day hat. Green goes so nicely with our conure feathers! That is too bad you're grounded. When they trim me, I go plop! too and I sure don't like that. I'm probably due for a trim myself....don't tell my mom! Now that I've become accustomed to head scritches, I insist on them and bite mom's ear when she stops! The owl loves to have mom sing to him and he allows dad to pet him and touch him all over. Mom is a little shy about that yet but she is working up to it. He is a great hopper. My parronts are amazed at where he can hop to - the distance of the hop and the speed!
Little Kiwi, the baby lovebird has started to fly. Dad decided she should learn so he stands and flaps his arms and jumps around to show her how to fly. These hoomans are pretty weird. She flies very slowly and carefully over to his shoulder. Not far distances yet but she is doing a great job since there are no birdie parents to teach her like they do the other babies. And you're right, it seems like we blink and she'd get more feathers! She is pretty much all feathered now. That went quick. Picabo eats all the leftover baby formula. He thinks he's a baby again!

If you chat with Corky, I still haven't received his numbers for baseball although I've reminded him several times. Baseball will probably be starting soon so I really need his numbers or I'm not sure what we'll do without our star pitcher!

Have a nice weekend. The neighbors finally sold their house after 4 years so they area having a meet and greet with the new people tomorrow afternoon. The new ones are from England but aren't retired yet so won't be here full time for a couple of years. The old ones are going to live there while their new house is being built and that could be a long time too!

Big hugs, Kirbs!
Love, Squeaky
