Hey Dixie and flock and sweet awesome mom Rose - it makes us so sad to hear that your little legs are in such pain. Please keep us posted what you may find out from the vet. We will certainly put our wings together and say our prayers for you with all our hearts tonight. Gout can be so difficult. Sweet Dixie, we wrap you in our big, strong wings and hold you close. Snuggle in and let us help you take some of the pressure off! So sorry we were not able to blog last night. We got started and then skin bro came for dinner and it got quite late so mom went to bed after he left. She is very tired and doing her best to manage the pain right now, just isn't always successful. Remington went back to the store today to be weighed. They want to be sure that he isn't losing more than 10% of his weight. Ha, that eating machine, not a chance. The parronts bought him a little carrying cage too. Boy is that small. Don't think we could get one wing in there, at least not all the way. While the mobile groomer will take care of his wings too, it's good to have a cage just in case there's some sort of emergency. If he ended up lose in a car with 3 big dogs and the two of us, he wouldn't last long. We love all y'all so very much and mom sends your amazing mom lots of warm hugs and is so very grateful for the hugs she sends. We send you lots of warm winghugs and beak kisses and all our love. We are most blessed to be best friends with you and are so grateful for that friendship and love! Athena and Mackie v4u
