How are u sweetie? Mom is trying to get out of her black funk & catch up on my blogs. My turn in the KB is coming up, 3/18-4/1/13, so she's got to get herself motivated for that! Due to all the stress mom is enduring, her MS exacerbation shows no sign of easing up! & just when mom thought my raging hormones were under control, I took another chunk out of her shoulder! Not sure if I told u about our dog Chloe or not...mom's in a fog about who she told what to! When mom goes over to sissy's to watch the grandkids, she always takes our 2 dogs for a playdate with sissy's 2 dogs. Chloe, our almost 9 yr old Pit mix, still plays like a puppy. When mom got back home, Chloe was unconscious. Mom jumped back in the van & rushed her to the vet. The chest xray showed she had a severe case of pneumonia...she showed no sign of illness & ran around in sissy's yard playing for about 2 hrs! The vet will repeat the xray in a wk or 2...she's pretty sure that Chloe has lung cancer. Mom is absolutely devastated! We've been going to our vet for 14 yrs & she's not one to say something like that unless she's pretty sure. Mom is trying not to dwell on it, tho it's pretty hard not to. There's still a chance that it was all pneumonia that showed up on the xray...the poor sweetie was so sick after she collapsed...there wasn't one clear spot in her lungs.
On to happier subjects! My darling Casey popped the question...I said YESSSSS! I'm so happy & thrilled! I wasn't expecting it! We will probably have a rather long engagement, wouldn't want to interfere with Sky & Baby's wedding!
In celebration of the Vernal Equinox, I am planning a spring carnival on March 23. There will be every ride & game both imaginable, followed by a dazzling fireworks display! I hope u will be able to attend! I have lots of other things planned during my 2 wks there! We are having a little break in the weather! 50 today, 58 tomorrow & 54 Monday! I'm so excited coz I'll get some outside time & I'll get to drive my beloved car! Have a great day/weekend sweetie!
