Hmmm, mom's not positive, but think we both do the 'I love yous' in the morning. We are just very happy to greet the day and get our morning toast. If mom is home from work she'll often make waffles or something like that and we'll get that instead of toast though we'll take toast anytime.

It must be so heartwarming for your mom to see Joey so happy and active. He knows what a wonderful home he has and enjoys it to the fullest.

Good that the weather was nice for your mom's lil day trip. Probably makes the drive seem faster when it's not rainy/snowy/low visibility.

Does one of your flock blog with Kiddo? (#7592) He can give you any particulars. Basically, you sign up on the milonga page the pics you want to enter, with the name and page number. Then once the entrants are set the voting begins. Everybirdy in the flock can vote for one of the pics each day until voting ends. Usually Kiddo and Taz will create various categories and make awards. Even if you can't attend think birds that don't know your flock would still get a kick out of seeing 'em. We love how you put lil sayings on each one. We usually attend, but since it's dinnertime aren't that active, but rather arrive, greet our fellow birds and fly in and out with comments here and there trying to keep caught up. Anyway, Kiddo also posted info on the Calendar page (190654) just click on the avatar in our aviary to go there. It's the yellow background with the green bird. You'll have to scroll down a bit to find Kiddo's milonga blog, but contains all the info you need.

It was a lil strange to be covered while it's still light out. Mom says it was birdie bedtime, we say she was early, but we didn't protest too much. Once we are covered we settle down and just snooze away. Even the furball barking later in the evening doesn't phase us.

We know you will be getting some goodies to help Joey celebrate his upcoming hatchday and then there'll be Easter for even more goodies. Oh, forgot about St. Pat's, do you observe that? All the grocery stores here have the corned beef and cabbage next to it for people to buy and prepare. The parronts won't be cooking that, but mom's mom used to make that when mom was a kid. She didn't like the cabbage, but the corned beef was okay.

Mom still hasn't changed her clock in the car yet...

Have a wonderful day, wing hugs and a vote, Pearl and Silver.
