Dear Muskeetiers
Did your mom like competitions? My mom did! She once won the Durham Ladies club competition and went on to the state competition, but came in third! The number one was a violinist, whom mom said was outstanding! Number two was a floutist, later played for the NC Orchestra. Mom played clarinet.
When she went to try out for a spot in ECU's School of Music, the professors said she did'nt have to try out. Two reasons, she was 1'st chair,1'st clarinet in the Durham High Wind Ensemble. They won eveery competition they were in! They were also selected to play at Jeckle Island Georgia, and were the only high school group invited. And the second reason was 3 of 4 professors at the try out were there in Greensboro when she came in 3'rd. They said she was robbed and was by far the best musician there! Mom did'nt mind though, cause the other two were friends of hers!Hehee!!!
Chirps is still sick, but we think one egg busted and came out! Now mom thinks she has another egg in there! I'm being run ragged to take care of her and mom! They are lucky to have me!Hahahaha!!!!
