Hi Taz
I sent out the milonga invitations yesterday, and I just realized I didn't send you a copy! Of course, you already know all the details, but I know you would want to see what I put out there. I copied it on the Calendar Page and the Milonga Page too.
Well, Mom's car is at the shop being diagnosed by the car doctors. They hadn't called with an estimate on how much it will cost to get her to pass smog yet, and they had her over 6 hours. So Mom called them. It is something with the turbocharger, which means they need to keep it overnight. She is going to go down and rent a car to get around in a bit, because they will need the car more than one day. The good news: her mechanic gets her a discount on the rental car and they will come pick her up. The bad news is that it will be expensive, but Dad says it is much cheaper than what he thought it would be. He was afraid it was new engine time, which would have beyond the worth of fixing. He says Mom should be dancing.
I didn't get a sunbath today, but it wasn't because Mom was glued to the phone waiting for that call. It is gloomy out and definitely not good weather for birdies. The radio says it will be nice again by Friday though. I can't wait to get back out there.
