Hi Flash
Sophie gives him a hug. Dad is doing pretty good over all. They're talking about taking the cath out soon to see how things go and then letting him come home to gain his strength and build up his blood for the surgery. His spirits may not soar but they are higher than when he first went in. We almost were able to bring him home this weekend but had a bit of a set back when he managed to break open the veins in his bladder again. He says that it's looking pretty good now for a while just so he doesn't have to strain going pot.
He's had so very many visitors and the hospital even commented on that. Nearly all our friends here has gone up at least once to see him and some of our old friends from up in Provo area has been able to go see him too. Even skin sis that lives in Moab, Ut (about 250-300 mi one way) got up to see him. And phone calls! Well, with what mom had we can only imagine! she ran out of time on her phone...mins and texts. THAT has never happend before. hehehe
Dad told mom she needed to find out about what it'll take to fix our car. Some of our dear friends here have given mom a car to use when she needs and not to worry when to bring it back. Now that is a special gift to use their car that way. So until dad comes home we got a car even though Kiwi and Sophie won't be able to go for rides. hehehe Anyhow, when mom gets moving about she'll take it down to find out if it's a hose (wishful thinking) or the water pump going out (more likely) and how much it'll take to fix it. She's also gonna try to get to doctor to check on HER health so she can care for dad when he gets home.
