hi Peepers!
Gee, I sure hope you don't get more snow! That sure is awful to see at this time of the year. It was nice and sunny here but on the cool side. Mom did have the screen open a bit in the afternoon though as it was mild enough and the fresh air was nice;) It probably would not be good to have the heating pad on Dixie's cage for several reasons. They can be hard to keep regular temps and it may get too hot for him. As he has respiratory issues, it would also make the air drier with electric heat so a humidifier would be beneficial. Also, with gout, the joint becomes hot and inflamed and heat would probably make it hurt more! He will probably feel more comfortable being able to rest with a little cover over him. If needed, maybe a warmer room would be nice or even a soft padded cloth to sit on. It depends on Dixie. He most likely will not want to be moved too much as it will be painful for him to move around. It is best if he can just rest:) I hope you are enjoying yourself and finding mischief;) I snuck out today when mom was cleaning my cage and was I happy:) I think she is amused to see how sneaky I am:) Hope you have a good evening:)

hugs,

Joey
