Mr. Rio!
How goes it these days? Any sign of that elusive Spring thing we've all be told t'look for? There's hints of it here but just when I think it might actually be gettin' warmer, we up and have another frigid day which puts a real damper on the spirits.

Despite the tardy arrival of warmer weather, the subject of baseball has come up which is why I've stopped by t'day. The MIGHTY MACAWS are plannin' on doin' their thing again this year and we're hopin' you'll sign on again for some good times. Actually Jake and I were talkin' and we were thinkin' that there might just be enough big birds t'make up a second macaw team but in order for that to actually work, we're gonna need a YES from everybirdie we contact. The upside of havin' two teams is that not only would macaws be a double force in the playing field but flockmates that couldn't play before because of that one-bird-per-team rule can now join in the fun as well. I'm really, really hopin' you and Ducky will say you'll play again this year. It just wouldn't be right without the two of you on the teams. Think it over and let me know, and I don't like your answer, I'll be sendin' Ruby over to do a better job of convincin' you to say YES. *grin*

Great t'be here. Hope life's treatin' ya kind and makin' you happy.
