Hi Tooth
That's pretty cool ... so you are into target shooting corn. Sounds like you are pretty good at it ... maybe Olympic material?
We had a sunny day with the snow melting ... YAY! But, Saturday is suppose to be a storm ... more snow. UNFAIR!!!!
Sorry you didn't see any animals. If you hang around our house in the evenings, you would see some. We do get flocks of blue jays here. You don't ... really?
Mom is working on her derby hat and the stuff is everywhere. My hats are smaller and don't take up much room. Which reminds me. The derby hat contest is for guys and girls. So, start looking for a real dapper hat and /or outfit. The contest will start around the middle of the month. Watch the calendar page for the dates.
Oh my, you were looking for yard stuff? We still can't see the yard under all that white stuff!
Day #5
Since the 50th running of the Kentucky Derby, Churchill Downs has presented an 18 karat gold trophy to the winning owner. It is 22 inches tall and weighs 56 ounces, excluding the jade base. The entire trophy is hand crafted with the exception of the horse and rider that are cast from a mold. More than 300 rubies cover the withers of the horse representing the garland of roses. The trophy is believed to be the only solid gold trophy that is annually awarded the winner of a major American sporting event.
