Hi Tooth
Really? It was 81 at the Cherry Hill Mall???? Unreal! We are still in the 30's for another week (should be 50) and getting snow and/or freezing rain tomorrow! I think I will need to pack my bags and head over! Mom will go purse/shoe shopping at the mall. You could just leave her there all day! She would love to have my hats too.

Female jockeys have also impacted the Kentucky Derby. In 1970, Diane Crump was the first woman to race in the Derby. Her horse, Fathom, finished 15th. Crump was also influential as she was the first woman to ride in a pari-mutual race in North America in 1969 at Hialeah Park in Florida. Crump later became a trainer and rode for her own stable. Since the sport became open to women in 1969, five female jockeys have ridden in the Kentucky Derby. Julie Krone, now retired, was the top female jockey in 1999. She is also the only female jockey to win a Triple Crown race, the Belmont Stakes in 1993. Two of today’s top jockeys are Chantal Sutherland and Rosie Napravnik.
