runs into Sugar's warm welcoming embrace! I had a quiet day also because my Mom had to go out and was gone all day long and didn't get home til late! I'm sooo happy to see you! Dixie takes Sugar's wing in his and brings her into the house. Oh those cinnamon rolls sure smell soooo good and I just love hot cocoa no matter what time of year it is!
Dixie snuggles up close to Sugar and they enjoy the book Elmer and the Big Bird that Sugar brought and the warm cinnamon rolls are so sticky and gooey but no one cares because of how good they taste! Dixie sits still for Sugar so that she can get his beak all cleaned up from the icing and he watches as she cleans off her sticky beak too!Sugar really knows how to clean his face off with the wash cloth without taking his face off like his Mom does!
After Sugar has cleaned up after their snack and got Dixie all tucked into his comfy blanket and his feet propped up on the Hello Kitty Pillow, the two of them cuddle close and talk about their day and what they did!Dixie just loves sharing with Sugar what he did during his day and he loves hearing about her day! Soon both friends are yawning and it becomes more and more difficult to keep their eyes open! Dixie wraps his wings around Sugar and gives her a tight squeeze of a hug and tells her just how much he loves her so! Her love and caring are sooo comforting to him and can't think of Sugar ever not being in his world!
Their eyes quickly close and soon their off to dreamland and sleep, happy smiles on their beaks! Sweet dreams!
