Thank you!
Aww, thank you for voting for me. I thought just my mom believed I was pretty. I was hatched all wrong, deformed feet that had to be surgically corrected and I'm smaller than most macaws. Then a bad man yanked me hard by my tail and pulled all my feathers out, so not all of them come in anymore. When I came to this rescue I swore like a biker in a bad bar and bit and screamed nonstop. This lady would whisper to me though and calm me down. She promised over and over that we would have 'forever' to love each other, no matter what, so she'd wait. After 8 days I sort of believed her. Now, after a decade, I call her "mom". She spoils me something fierce, but that's why I saved her life. Twice. Woke her up in the night when I heard her stop breathing. I mean, hey, that's the lady who saved MY life. We do what we have to do, right?
