Pearl and Silver come flying in
with wings wide open for a big group wing hug with Peepers. They know he's upset about the recent events in his state. The three 'tiels hold together in comfort.

When mom came home from work yesterday skinsis mentioned the Boston Marathon explosions. Not much info at first, but so, so awful to have that happen. We didn't know that that was a special day off for MA and that that's why the marathon is held then. The pro events here were increasing their security and being more aware of what is going on last night. Heard that the famous SF marathon that's held next month will have to rethink all their precautions in light of the tragedy there. Hope they figure out who is responsible and why.

It was very windy here. Well, not like hurricane windy, but windy for us. The furball's water dish had leaves in it. The family said it was leaf soup, heehee. Still sunny though so it looked nice.

If mom ever gets a chance to shop at the farmer's market again (she works on all the different days they're held) she'll look and see if those fiddleheads are around. Doubt it though as she thinks she'd remember it if she had as they are so strange looking. The market nearest us has a lot of the Asian type veggies, but mom is used to those since she saw 'em in the SF markets when she was a kid. Her mom came from SF so visited a lot during childhood.

Hope you get warmer temps soon, extra wing hugs and a vote, Pearl and Silver.
