`Ü´ Greetings and Good Morning,
Fellow Flower Girls!

I do apologize for arriving late this morning. Why, Momma would appear to be so overwhelmed with everything going on that her hands veritably shake as she goes about her tasks! I must say, it makes for a rather unstable perch, even for a big BirdieGirl like myself whose sheer weight alone is enough to stabilize a minor quiver in one of her "main branches".

She seems to have quite a bit going on, and not all of it about we Kritter in the Korral. Momma found out last evening that her Grand Niece in Akron, Ohio had had another cardiac episode like the one that nearly cost her her life several weeks back. But this time, Cousin Hannah was NOT found at the bottom of a swimming pool as before. But she did require a Response Team and was taken to the Emergency Room at the Children's Hospital in Akron. She was supposed to be released to cme home this morning but suffered yet another episode and her family has been told that she will not be going home today. Momma is beside herself being so far away from her family. And this is the second Niece in the hospital at the same time! (The first having been involved in a very serious automobile accident this past Thursday evening.)

And in the midst of numerous, frequent conversations with Father God, Momma also has Birdie BazeBol to bring together for Opening Day on May 6. And she is VERY far behind schedule with that!

Oh! I do wish there were something I could do to help her out. Perhaps just being here, and having her know that I am doing what I would normally be doing, serves as one less thing that she knows she has to worry about. I shall think of it that way unless and until she tells me there is something more I can do.

Now, would you be willing to help me out and share a cup of tea with me, and one of those bear claws, please?
