That was so upsetting in Boston. You are right, we hope they get caught and punished. All those poor people injured and some loss of life including an 8 year old. They don't need to splash their face across every paper for days either!
Guess what? We had a day of sunshine and the snow is melting! It's still covering the ground but getting lower and some spots are showing up. They say another storm is on the way, hope not. My parronts are leaving in the morning, renting a big trailer and going downstate. They have an offer (from dad's sister) of really nice furniture, bed, dishes etc for Jess. We will have to find a spot to store it for her. I'm not liking this ... home alone until Jess gets home from work. I told dad that I have a travel cage now and I'm ready to go. But, he said NO.
It does seem like I'm getting to the 10K pretty fast now. Mom will still type my derby blogs all the way to the 30th.
A wide variety of seating at varying prices is offered for the Kentucky Derby. Millionaire’s Row is the scene of celebrities and high ticket prices. They have their own dining room and many TV’s. On the other end sit’s the infield which is home to 80,000 revelers and rivals only Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras in its traditions and wild atmosphere. They do not have a view of the horses. Ladies, when attending the Derby, be sure to wear a pretty hat. Beautiful hats are a tradition. This is an exciting place to be on Derby and Oaks days.
PS ~ I WILL BE OFF LINE ON WEDNESDAY, WILL CATCH UP ON THURSDAY.
