It sounds like you had a wonderful day. I can't get over the fact that you'll be photographed with that cary paper and present. The contents look delightful though. Ah, to reach the counter and find it still banned. Poor you! It shouldn't have to be that way on one's hatchday.
Did I mention that I talked a bit this morning? After that I put myself in my cage and stayed in there until after my evening supper, when Mama took me out and convinced me to perch on a chair back for awhile. Later found me on my playgym with the lamp directed at me while I whistled, talked and bobbed. I do believe the warmth from the light is letting my body set aside some energy for healing. Pringle keeps placing herself in spots where she can get the heat too.
If it's ok with the vet I'm to come off my antibiotics on Thursday. My skin doesn't look like I should, but my overall attitude has really improved.
I'm not very happy with Mama right now. She missed getting me to my very first practice for baseball. I was with you in spirit, running alongside you.
In answer to your questions from the other day, yes those are Mama's hands that are throttling me. And even though I was coming to Mama for my shot, I've since started leaving the vicinity even though that tempting bit of cheese is in view. Funny thing is, even though I don't like the shot I HATE the cream being rubbed into my sore skin. I've not bitten Mama, but I hold her finger hard and push it away.
Well, my 9 year old friend, I'm thrilled that you had a greyt day. May your next year be filled with happiness and lots of scritches from your faithful mom.
Your Mr. Fluffy, P*>xxXXxx<*K
