Please Pray for Lima
This morning while we were out of the house, Picabo escaped his cage and we found him roaming, sitting on top of Squeaky's cage. We thought we were lucky with no damage or injuries only to see that our little lovebird, Lima, female, 2 years old had her top beak ripped off! We immediately called our wildlife vet and took her in but there wasn't enough space to be able to reattach the beak. She is on antibiotics now and being watched over by her mate, Limon, who is so worried for her. We are trying to tube feed her - would love any suggestions!
Please send your prayers to this baby for a recovery!
Thank you!
Mom Sunny, Squeaky, Scion, Picabo & Limon
