Hi Popeye
Dad is overdoing it again? What else is new? The Pickles book is about Pickles, an African Grey who talks a heck of a lot more than Gizmo does!
Mom thinks the bees with humanoid faces is vaguely disturbing, but she loves the nails, heehee.
The squirrels stay at the center until they are 14 to 16 weeks old, as that is how long they would stay with mom in the wild. Their diet changes to a wild one as soon as their teeth are fully erupted, so they can get used to what they will find outside.
Mom got to clean the silver foxes and the RVS room again today, with the fox kits, a raccoon, a ground hog, and the bats. She likes what she does at the center, it's fulfilling work. We hope she can stay there, at least for awhile. Nothing much new here, it's a gloomy, cool day with rain predicted. Hope you're having a good day with lots of sun. Hugs, Falco
