Simon sees that one of the batting cages
has opened up. He picks up a bat, swings it a few times puts it down and picks another one...swings this one and exclaims...yup, this is the one for me.

He sets the pitching machine to slow to warm up and he starts hitting the balls pretty good and consistent but he knows that the pitchers are not going to be that nice. He changes the pitching machine to fast...100 mph pitches...if I can hit those then I should do okay...

He steps up to the plate, hits his bat a few times then he is ready so he takes his stance and keeps his eye out for the ball to come towards him...he swings and he misses...he knows what he did wrong so he gets ready for the next ball...this time he is ready for the ball and sees it leave the machine and crrrrrraaaaack...the ball leaves Simon's bat and it registers a home run ball over the fences....
