Hi, Chi Chi,
Sounds like the trail is a good place for a race with the bits of shade here and there and the river to help it stay cool too. Plus that would be rather more scenic than city streets where many races take place.

Think if you have enough of the special perches and whatnot to help keep the nails and beak filed and smooth then wouldn't need to go as often. Some of us birds do get more scared/stressed than others at being examined or trimmed.

We've occasionally seen someone on the poles here. The last time it was the power company people trimming trees away from their wires. They had to go into our yard to gain access. Good to get all your wires repaired so service isn't disrupted again.

Have a great day, wing hugs, beak kisses and a vote, Pearl and Silver.
