Dixie & Little Angel
continue to work together on their flower project and Dixie sooo happy that he quickly got the glue and the sparkles washed off Little Angel before they dried and hardened on her pretty feathery head, sits down beside her at the table, smiling with relief that this project didn't turn into a disaster like usual! Little Angel sure is a handful but he just can't help loving her so! Life is always eggciting and you can never tell what is going to happen even on a calm day when you'd think everything was going right!
Sidling up closer to Little Angel as she concentrates on her flower building,he kisses her softly on her neck and then decides to take her out for a break to have some lunch in the warm spring like sunshine! He picks up the lunch basket his Mom packed for them both filled with warm freshly baked corn bread birdie bread, made with fruits and nuts inside, some sweet pineapple juice, birdie cookies in three different flavors, mango, papaya and peach, and some apple chips to munch on! Lifting Little Angel off the chair,he gently leads her outside walking wing tip in wing tip,the smell of the fresh air breezes by their nares and the feel of the warm sunshine energizes them! Dixie lays out a blanket for them to sit on and places his lunch box on top of it! Setting up an umbrella so Little Angel doesn't get too much sun on her skin he sits down beside her,and as Little Angel looks around at all the surroundings of wild birds and people walking by in the park,he kisses her gently on her beak and tells her just how much he loves her.....
